New Year - New Challenge

HodgePodge Challenge

I changed my 'Little Moments' layout to 'Little Things' to fit in with the new challenge over at HodgePodgeArt. It's being hosted by Kate Hadfield whose designs I discovered over the Christmas holidays. She is now my new scrapbooking idol. I just LOVE the layout she has done for her challenge and her plea on her blog for everyone to play along for her is just so sweet. I'm sure she'll get LOADS of entries! I've never entered a challenge before so I'm pretty excited!

Freebie: Sugar Puff Alpha

Yay - finally after some upload problems I'm ready to share my first freebie with you all.
It's an alpha called Sugar Puff. It comes with full upper and lower case and some extra characters. If you would like any other characters added let me know and I'll be happy to make an add-on for you.

Sausan Designs

Sylvie's got some lovely new stuff in her store over at Sausan Designs. I love her new brushes and altered artistry frames and tags.

Below is my layout using them. I love how it turned out to have a real doodle feel to it. For some reason I just can't get enough of that green colour. It seems a good fresh colour for a new year. I just adore her new font 'Little Nemo' too. I'd been looking for a whimsical hand written font for some time, so I'm glad she's added this one to her store. I used it on the bottom right hand corner for the date label. I hope to use on a bigger block of journaling for my next layout.
